Cloud Security Engineer

Hyundai AutoEver is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join the Security Architecture & Engineering (SAE) team and work remotely with Hyundai AutoEver America.

This role will serve as a key member of the U.S.-based cybersecurity organization, partnering closely with cloud, infrastructure, application development, and security teams to design, implement, and enhance security controls across cloud and enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will help strengthen Hyundai AutoEver's cloud security posture, assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks, support secure architecture initiatives, and drive Security by Design principles across a rapidly evolving technology landscape. This position requires strong technical expertise in cloud security, security architecture, vulnerability management, and security automation, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud and enterprise environments.
  • Assess security risks and conduct cloud security architecture reviews.
  • Strengthen cloud security posture, identity protection, configuration management, and threat prevention capabilities.
  • Review vulnerability assessments and penetration testing findings, recommending and validating remediation actions.
  • Implement and optimize security technologies, including EDR, SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and cloud-native security solutions.
  • Develop automation to improve security monitoring, control effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Support Security by Design, Zero Trust, compliance, and strategic cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and global affiliates.


Working Hours (Brazil Time)


  • 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM during U.S. Daylight Saving Time (November through March)
  • 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM during the remainder of the year

Requisitos mínimos


  • Advanced to Fluent English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including cloud security, security engineering, security architecture, or vulnerability management
  • Hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or multi-cloud environments
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, network security, vulnerability management, SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and security automation
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, architecture reviews, vulnerability analyses, and remediation validation
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust, Security by Design, NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001
  • Experience with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container security, and security automation
  • Experience with security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Qualys, Tenable, Splunk, or equivalent technologies
  • Experience working in large-scale, multinational, or highly regulated corporate environments
